Have you ever had a larger litter before?

Yes I have / The largest litter we've had was 6.

Could this mean a large litter?

Yes, it could and it could also mean a smaller litter with larger pups.

Do larger litters usually require a C-section?

No, a larger litter would not necessarily require a c-session. My gal did very well with my assistance. I was right there the entire time.

Do you know the background of the stud or what size he typically throws? Adult size is no indication of his background, as he may just be the smallest in his litter and his background is 9 lbs. with large birth weights.
I agree: With her being so big at 5 weeks as you describe, I too would be more worried about her having a small litter with larger pups.

I guess you shall find out when you have the x-ray done.
