She just wouldn't let me. I've settled for the way it is without trying to force it up. As for cotton coat.. I don't think she is cotton. She never mats. I don't have to brush or comb more than two to three times a week. I think it might be the photo. She is shiny but heck I don't know if she considered silky or partially silky. Her ear feels pretty light to me though. Sometimes both ears are standing but only when she wants to. I think she wants that ear down.
