If Miley's MA were still active at 12 weeks of age, then she will need one more vaccine in addition to the one given at 16 weeks to establish immunity. You may be able to have a titer test done to check her levels of antibodies. It's more expensive than a vaccine, but you could ask the vet about doing it. Also, wait at least 4 weeks after the last distemper to get her Rabies. They really shouldn't be given at the same time, although many people do. It's just safer to wait a month in between vaccines.
