I would be more worried about a Section with a smaller litter with very large puppies. I've had a small litter of big babies that created a larger than normal belly. Xray is your best hope for knowing.
Do you know the background of the stud or what size he typically throws? Adult size is no indication of his background, as he may just be the smallest in his litter and his background is 9 lbs. with large birth weights.
