Xray on day 56-58.....count babies, check size, check position (position can change before whelping, but if everyone is lined up nose to tail, this is great! If there would be one that is transverse, blocking the birth canal, you would want to re-ray right before they are due...say, day 62......if that puppy is still transverse, you really need to be on your toes!
