Hello everyone. My name is Megan. I posted a few months ago, introducing myself and my yorkie Daisy, sadly, I lost her at 16 weeks old due to aspiration pneumonia.
I was so sad but wanted another puppy. A short time later I found one!
I named her Cricket and when I brought her home, she was sick. One Sunday morning, she was very constipated, she was rushed to the emergency vet and she was. They cleaned her out and sent her home The next day, she was still acting strange, not wanting to lay down, pacing the house. The regular vet wanted to do tests and it was determined that cricket had a liver shunt! Little cricket had surgery the end of June to repair her shunt and she is doing GREAT!
she went to the vet a couple of weeks ago to have her staples removed and she weighed 3 lbs 10 oz! She is now 16 weeks old.she will go in few more weeks to have another bile acid test done and she is still on l/d food, antibiotic and lactulose in the meantime. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello again.
