Yes, Yorkies are prone to hypoglycemia. The way you described what your baby is doing...down one minute and fine/running full force the next doesn't sound like hypoglycemia to me. Keep Nutrical on hand just in case, though. If you notice hypoglycemia symptoms again, just give him some Nutrical.
I'm glad that he seems to be doing ok now, but keep us posted, please. I'm not convinced this is only low blood sugar.
