 Couvers BUN Levels are Elevated
Couver went in for his annual exam today and had bloodwork, urinalysis and fecal done. Everything came out normal except his BUN levels. The vet said they were elevated, and that they were elevated last time too (I don't remember them saying anything last time...).
I'm concerned. She says it could be due to dehydration or a high protein diet. We are going to test again when he goes in for his dental, but I am worried.
Does anyone have any experience with elevated levels? I've been doing a bit of googling, but was hoping someone here had some advice. I just want to make sure I'm doing what is best for him... |
