 Letter from my dog.
My sister & I live together & she's been out of town. Thought some of you might enjoy the letter Teena sent her today:
Dear Little Mom,
Dolly & I really miss you & we think maybe we're being shortchanged in the treat department. But OH MY DOG today Big Mom made up for it! I noticed her go into the kitchen & like always I followed & started spinning because that's where all the food is & I figure it doesn't hurt to spin. Well she got something out of the frig & I smelled MEAT & then I started getting really hopeful when I saw her cut it into really little pieces like that Sassy dog's dad brings when he comes & then she started frying it & it smelled so good I just kept spinning so she wouldn't forget about me & I don't know why Dolly doesn't spin but she just sits patiently & looks up with those big puppy dog eyes & that works too. Then the best sign ever was when Mom put Dolly's mustache & beard back into a ponytail because we know what that means but I don't know why she doesn't do mine but that's fine by me! Mom takes our bowls & I'm so happy we left a little of that kibble in the bowl because she poured a lot of juice on that little bit of kibble & told us we had to wait a little while because it was hot & OMD we could hardly stand it!!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS & I inhaled it as fast as I could because I knew Dolly would be savoring hers like a little lady & I'd be able to snitch some of hers & sure enough I got one of Dolly's little pieces before Mom scooped me up & carried me like she always does when Dolly needs a little more time to eat than me. I just don't know why we can't eat like that all the time it was so good. Those people I used to live with didn't make me eat any kibble they just let me eat off their plates whatever they didn't eat & I was happy with that but I know Big Mom said I was too skinny when she got me because I only weighed 2.5 lbs. Now I just have to keep my paws crossed that I don't get the itchies because this is the first time I've had sirloin steak in a long time & Mom said this was a little test. Wish me luck!
