 Cali has a growth on her upper lip
Tuesday as I was grooming Cali I noticed a black growth on her upper lip, underneath. I got her in to my vet yesterday and she has to have it removed. The vet is hopeful that it is not melanoma and the pigmentation is because it's on her lip which is also black.
Her pre anesthesia blood work came out perfect. Cali has a mild case of MVD so it's always a worry putting her under. So I am glad her blood work looked good.
I take her in Tuesday morning for surgery to remove it and they are going to clean her teeth at the same time.
I would appreciate prayers that it is a simple growth and not something more serious.
