Thank y'all for lending your ear and giving me the advice! My breeder is definitely a wonderful lady when it comes to her furry family members as with everything else from what I've seen. She actually asked me more questions about my home/daily routine than I did about her dogs and how she raises them. Which I thought was impossible since I had what seems like a grocery list of questions. She offered to let me tagalong with her for the vet visit, but we'll be out of town visiting my in laws or as my son calls them "Memaw" and "Papaw". Since I can't go, she'll have the vet print out paperwork with the diagnosis and recommendation with whether or not to sell the puppy and we'll go from there. My contract will cover any genetic defects (in this case the heart murmur) that the female puppy will have and since the breeder already knows of this she will pay for any meds/vet visits my baby will have and already have on hand the meds her vet prescribes if any(crossing my fingers she doesn't need any) when/if we are able to take her home in August. If y'all don't mind can you please send up a quick prayer that everything will turn out right with my little girl on the 29th? I appreciate it! |
