I know that people can use smilies sarcastically but in place of those there would just be sarcastic words.

Sad though. I never did find a double-meaning to a smiley with shades on. Went to my various sites that I use to try to learn some of the Twitter-verse lingo but they didn't seem to have anything special attached to it so I'll just accept it as an emphasis to something that was just said being considered cool or a way of saying "chill out" or "we kewl" I guess.
