You are right. Jake did not know much if any love. He used to hear a certain pitch of a mans voice, would cry and cover his head with his paws. It was really sad to see. It was not until I got another rescue that was very loving that he learned he wanted some of that too. PeeWee was in reality his angel. He helped him learn a little loving was not so painful.
I am going to concentrate on all that I had from him and not what I have lost. But, I will always wish my Jake could come home. |
