All puppies grow at different points in their life. No two pups will gain weight at the exact same pace and they will gain more or less depending on their appetite and there age. I have had pups even younger than yours gain more than a pound in under two weeks time. Its really not that uncommon and nothing to be concerned about. It jut meant that your pup is happy and healthy !!
Would you prefer that he rarely eats and is underweight, Probably not . . .
