2 years ago today, a little ball of fluff named Henri came into my life and changed everything. He changed my life for the better and I don't know what I would do without him, here is a sweet little story about how Henri saved me:
I had been sewing since my mom taught me when I was very little, I have always been a very creative person and would even make my own sewing patterns. Well, before Henri I was going through a hard time in my life and had not even touched a needle and thread for about two years, my sewing machine sat collecting dust. I had lost part of myself and couldn't figure out how to get it back, until my darling boy came along. On a hot July day Henri chose me to be his momma and as we bonded more with each passing day, something wonderful happened. Well, not so wonderful at first, Henri being the stubborn terrier he is wouldn't use the bed I bought him so I decided to dust off my sewing machine and make one for him. Since that bed that he loves to this day, I have been sewing countless things for him from clothes to toys, to anything. Henri found and returned to me the part of myself I had lost. Thanks to my baby, I am now sewing again and even starting my own business that Henri is a major part of (he is the logo and mascot!), called HugaPUPs. All in all, it was Henri who knew I needed him possibly more than he needed me on that hot July day.
