This post brought back fond memories of my Charlie. He loved his crate at bedtime. And when he was ready for bed it didn't matter if we had company or not, he just got up and walked to his crate. If he happened to be up when we went to bed, all we had to do was say bedtime and he would run in there. He shared the crate with Max, so I always would say, "hurry up so you'll get the good spot".
