I scooped her out immediately. She was so pleased with herself, I think, mostly because she was cool. She ran several laps around the pool at full speed like crazy. She got her stitches out yesterday and the vet said she could get in but I'm waiting a few more days.

She wasn't afraid at all so I know I'll have to continue to watch her closely when she's out there. This weekend she's getting a life jacket and she's going to have a ball! She is the funniest little thing.
awwh how cute, if she is toy crazy, try putting her toy close to the side and see what she does, that what's got Lola going jumping in for her toy. You will also need to train her well on how to get out and also look into getting a ramp designed for dogs to put on the other end from where the steps are.
When you have an in ground pool and a dog that likes the water them going in on their own is a concern. I have to be careful around my sisters pool, she has a fenced in yard so the dogs go out to potty and if I am not right there Lola is likely to jump in the pool, my sister's dog however will not go near it. I love having a dog that likes the water but on the other hand it is also a concern. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
