We have a pool in the backyard and Lexi hasn't been in yet because she had stitches from her spay. She always walks so close to it, but has never attempted to jump in. Well, two days ago I was putting the rope float deep end divider on and I was getting in the pool. She always follows me step for step and I heard a splash. I turned around and she was swimming! I scooped her out immediately. She was so pleased with herself, I think, mostly because she was cool. She ran several laps around the pool at full speed like crazy. She got her stitches out yesterday and the vet said she could get in but I'm waiting a few more days.

She wasn't afraid at all so I know I'll have to continue to watch her closely when she's out there. This weekend she's getting a life jacket and she's going to have a ball! She is the funniest little thing.
