Since you're a senior citizen on a fixed income, it is my suggestion that you contact a Yorkie rescue in your area and see if they would consider you as a foster home. Make sure you choose one that covers necessary vet costs, which many do.
This way you get the relationship with many little furbutts, without having to worry about whether or not you'll be able to afford veterinary care if need be. |
