I see it from another side having a dog who is at the end of the available proteins on the planet. This food was recommended for her. I contemplated it, but don't think she will do well on it because it is not hydrolyzed. I am opting for another solution which has kept her well and she's already outlived her prognosis by 7 years now. I didn't read the article because I saw who wrote it.
Home cooking is great but few do it correctly.
