Default Please help us :(

Can someone please help us. I till try to give as much info as possible. My baby girl Akira will be 2 in Sept. when she was about 6 months old she started scratching all the time. I took her to the vet where they took her off royal canine (for puppies) and put her on prescription ( Hills) diet z/d ultra allergen free. They also did allergy testing and couldn't find anything. So they put her on vanectyl p because she's only 1lbs 6 ounces she takes 1/4 every other day. We live in Canada and she's itchy all the time, she's also an indoor dog (baby) and uses a pee pad. She rubs her face on any carpet she can find, rubbing herself in circles. She chews her feet, and always rubbing her face. I use oatmeal shampoo ( bath her once a wk) and when I take her to the groomer I get them to use a shampoo that won't make her itchy, the groomer says her skin looks fine. Two wks ago I took her off the vanctyl p...I'm really don't want to have her on medication...(scared of the long term affects). I talk to the breeder and the owner of her brother all the time to see if any other baby has this problem...her brother does not have this problem and the breeder says no one else told him they have a problem either.
On another note, not sure if anyone else's baby does this, when Akira goes to eat she waves her paw over her dish 3 times before sneaking a kibble, she runs off with it drops it on a pillow, scratches the pills and watches the kibble move around before she eats it. When she's done she sneaks back walking in the same path every time until she's full. It's cute to watch her, but not sure why she does it. If anyone can help me, it would mean so much to us.
Have a great day
