I say go for it...He plenty old enough. I always give my pups a varity of things to chew on. (raw hide, kongs, bull weeny's, ice cubes) Puppies can and will chew on anything if they don't have their own thing to chew on. So if you want to save your walls, baseboards, rugs and pretty much anything else than it s best to give them something to keep them busy. Especially when they are teething !
