They do need to eat every 3 to 4 hours when their young. Like your vet said, as long as she perks up...but if Anything else happens, or the episodes become more frequent, get her in to the vet.
Mine could never go long without food or she'd end up in a low BS episode. We've outgrown it some what. Last time her BS was low, she was 8 to 9 mo. old., she's now a year old. The weather has been very hot and humid lately. I'm watching her closely to make sure she's eating. (it's so hot that I don't want to eat! I'm sure she feels some of that too). | Also, when it is so hot, they can become dehydrated and the combination with low blood sugar can be deadly! Keep her hydrated! |
