Sprout's 14 years old, Bella is almost 2 and Gypsy is only 2.5 months...none of them have ever had their anal glands expressed. Gypsy's too young to know yet, but the vet said that Sprout and Bella empty theirs when they poop, which is what you want. Bella is still quite young and she may need it further down the road, but Sprout just keeps emptying them as he poos. |
