You should look into the mother club for Yorkies YTCA.org because they know more about yorkies then any vet because no vet can be an expert in all breeds and they say under 5 pounds is every dangerous and a big no no but if you are willing to risk your dogs life and plan to keep and care for all the puppies for there whole lives go ahead. But you could very well end up with out your female and with out any puppies.
