. I'd start with the .5 - and you can just stay with that one if you like. Some people also have the 1.0 which can be used for both face and body. I've used both and like them both but probably use the .5 more often. You will love it! I gave you lots more detail about using it via your PM.

I have cystic acne.  No one knows I have acne, I don't really get pimples often that are visible. Instead I get these lumps under the skin that come on fast and last for years. They occasionally swell up and I'm able to poke them but they don't go away. I've been to a dermo and was on low dose antibiotics for them for 6 months, it helped but didn't get rid of them. She mentioned Acutane, but didn't want to resort to that until she exhausted all other options. Since they SEEM a bit better, I just stopped going. These Glymed products are awesome amazing products. Lol, it really doesn't hurt...the needles are very micro and you just lightly run the roller across the face...there is a light prickly feeling, but nothing painful. It does great things to your skin...causing repair/rejuvenation, smaller pores esp if used with a peel, but can be used on its own too. It's pretty cool. I don't know, though, if it would a good tool with cystic acne...?
