You and your vet did everything you could. Something else was preventing Bailey from fighting off the Coccidia. I hope the breeder corrects this situation. I know there is no way to replace all that you have gone through and the expense.
Absolutely a pup with no other health conditions can die from Coccidia, especially a pup too young to be away from it's mother as the stress alone can be all it takes to weeken a pups immune system .Once this happens the Coccidia can go crazy throughout the pups body in the liver, kindeys, heart and brain & is why it's so important to take your puppy for a full exam & stool check ASAP after it's brought home.
