You have a point. Mandie is pretty active and she walks around outside, sniffing and dragging her hair on the ground. I'll bet that is what keeps it short. Thanks for that..I had not thought of it.

Oh, I know what you mean. When Mandie's topknot comes out, she runs around like a crazy dog and loves to bury her head in the bed or couch..and dig with her front paws. It's so cute!
