Update: Good news, we finally got x-rays and he does NOT have hip dysplasia, it is an old pelvic fracture that has healed and will just always be that way. Also he has gained a little over a pound- we are up to 9.5(on the first he was only 8.1)! He is eating like a champ and as happy as ever! The doctor wants to keep him on cage rest for the week just to make sure he is going to make a full recovery but all looks good, he should be up for adoption next weekend!
@llcornell- I think that's a great idea, spread the word at least, I would hate to see him sit at the shelter much longer
