wow. it makes sense that the center of the car is the safest. i think i will reconsider the console version. keep in mind, when we totaled our car the passenger airbag was huge. i think it may hit the console area depending on the make and model of vehical. we had a lexus es300 sedan. just a 4 door car. i will check with the manufactor of my new car about airbag size. oh.. also the airbag was so large it hit the rearview mirror and it flew off striking my fiance in the head and causing injury. i don't think romeo could have taken the impact from the rear view mirror flying off. our accident was a high speed impact. most accidents i am told are fender benders at intersections. thanks for your input. especially from the yorkie lover that works for the car company. |
