Hippo looks very much like his Mother in coloring. I guess I dont pick up the blue coloring on a lot of these dogs. I have been breeding for 20+ years and have never seen one I would call a blue born in my litters although some are lighter in color. Yorkies have traditionally been registered with the blue option
on the reg papers. I think it means that the black coloring is shimmering with a blue tone. I wonder if a lot of dogs are just being labeled with the blue born
tag.
