Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I like to use C.E.T. toothpaste, it's a favorite among many people here.

Find the smallest toothbrush possible. Work on brushing at least once a day, twice if you are really enterprising.

Don't worry if your pup isn't too agreeable at first. Keep working and training and things will improve. Some people use a towel to wrap their pup in, but it might be better just to work on training your pup to accept brushing teeth.

You can supplement brushing with wrapping a little gauze around your finger and rubbing in circles especially along the gumline. This helps with pups with small mouths where back teeth are difficult to reach.

A few people have trained their pups to accept the Sonicare electric toothbrush. Wish my boys would let me use it.
