Yikes! I would not take it and for sure would never consider it for my tiny pups. Unless something has actual scientific research behind it and is considered safe for them, my pups will not be given such products.
Whether it killed that lady or not, the bottom line there was a question about it, therefore I say no...for myself and certainly for my pups.
For years I have given Metacam, Rimadyl, Tramadol and Bupranex to my pups after surgical procedures and had no problems with these meds whatsoever.
