Maybe it's stigma attached to the color black? My dad told me once at this office party when he used to work, they had a pot luck. He brought in a tray of Chinese sesame cookies. Half were made from white sesame, and half were black. They taste exactly the same. He said all the white ones were eaten and hardly anyone touched the black ones. Why was that?
BTW I love black cats. And a lot of dogs have black heads or faces. Even yorkies start off with mostly black faces.
