Pedialyte is specifically used to correct electrolyte imbalance caused by vomiting and or diarrhea.....I just did not want anyone to think if they had a dog with diarrhea, they could give Pedialyte to stop the diarrhea! Pedialyte is like Gatorade...it is an electrolyte solution.
