The YouTube videos are great! Just search for "dog training" or "how to teach sit (down, shake ...) ... I use Cheerios or tiny apple pieces, and believe it or not, I am teaching him "Roll Over" with a sock! Hahaha he loves that old sock and his "treat" is tug-of-war with it!

Also keep training sessions short, about 5-10 minutes. And have a lot of patience! Don't get frustrated because they can sense it. Keep calm and use a neutral tone of voice.
Awesome I will try that!! My mom gives her apple treats every time she comes home at night and in the morning since she is Miley's favorite person (my dog hates me haha). I just get nervous that Miley will know she will get the apples anyway when my mom comes home!
