I have a very low plastic basket as well for Wallee's toys..Problem is, when they are in the basket he won't attempt to get them out. He will just stand and whine at the basket till you dump it out on the floor. Then he will rummage through the pile and take what he wants. Not sure what it is about the basket..something else he just decided he doesn't like.
