I believe dogs pick up on everything. They can get nervous so easily if things change. When Jess got crate restricted due to an injury she stopped drinking out of a bowl, then wouldn't eat kibble, then tried to bury said kibble. That went away and when we go away and she is boarded for a day or two we come back and she vomits once a day for a day or two and then returns to normal. Like kids they don't like their routine changed so they act out. Not intentional just their way of saying "not liking this"!! Sounds like your pup will be fine but don't be surprised once you move if there arent more strange episodes for awhile..it goes away
