If it's baby teeth that are being removed, a pain killer isn't necessarily needed--they are usually loose and pull out easily. In humans, wisdom teeth are different because they are permanent teeth firmly rooted in the jaw. I'm not defending the vet's action, I'm just trying to give a possible explanation. |
