Just call your vet and insist on something for your dog. Tooth extraction isn't always that terribly painful with humans because we have Novacaine, etc., injected into our gums and it takes a good while to wear off but dogs don't get that and just wake up hurting. My wisdom teeth extractions hurt, too, but another one or two didn't hurt that much, to tell the truth. But I was pumped full of Novacaine and by the time it wore off, I'd used ice and had strong pain medication on board and pretty much stayed inactive. Dogs can be running around in a few hours. Just call the vet and insist.
