These pups can change on a dime. Jess did the same went through a stage where she tried to push anything she could over the bowl or bury it with her nose. She also decided at one point she preferred not to drink water out of a bowl. I think its just puppydom and stretching the boundaries to see what happens. If shes acting fine try a little chicken broth over it (I boil boneless chicken breasts and put the water in ice cube trays. Eventually they return to normal. Now Jess inhales her royal canin, topping or no topping...
