Like others have said at least if it doesn't work out you can find him a wonderful home!!
I had to re-home my friends 2 yorkie females, unspayed, vaccinated etc. I was going to keep them. I have a 6 year old very spoiled little boy ( neutered) We basically let him decide. In the end it really didn't work out, but I was able to find the 2 best homes for them. They have been spayed, vaccinated- the whole nine yards. They are super spoiled with their new families, and it couldn't have worked out any better!
The good thing is both families are DH’s friends, so we are able to see them often and even dog sit!
