I so admire all of you that have your dogs in crates, and it works.
I, have always tried it in the beginning. It never worked except with one dog. Otherwise, they would cry and cry. I couldn't sleep, so in to the bed they came!
Honestly, I sleep better knowing they are close to me. In fact, Libby likes to cuddle with DH and I can't sleep well until she comes back by me!
The one dog that did sleep in her crate would just go in there on her own in the evening. Only time she needed tending was during thunderstorms which she was scared to death of. |
