I struggled with this for a long time. I still do some nights! She is 8 months old. I have to have her in her crate on a table that is legit right against my bed. It always has to be me next to her. If its my boyfriend she wont stop crying. Sometimes I have to put my hand in the side of the crate so she can feel it then will lay down. If I put her crate on the floor in my room or not next to me she will cry all night. They just like to be near you all the time. Maybe try putting her next to the bed at eye level so she can see you. Also the size of the cage can matter also. I had a huge crate so I could put a puppy pad and she would cry and cry. I have a small crate now with just her blanket in there and she does great with that! Good luck!!!!
