I'll tell you what, if I did get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and that thing didn't stay quiet with the lights out or the off switch malfunctioned, I'd probably have a heart attack if it suddenly started singing and looking at me as I walked by!!! I guess you could put it by the refrigerator at night to discourage midnight snacking.
