Is she in her cage when you leave for work? I would imagine so, right. So can you imagine what she does when you are not home. She is probably crying and barking all of the time. So, in order to get her use to her cage you will need to work with her during times when you are home every chance you get. During naps and after potty breaks things like that in order to train her to like her cage hat it is not a bad place but more of her safe place to go when she is tired. If she falls asleep on you or in a doggy bed, anywhere pick her up and take her to her cage.
Her cage should be in the same room as you and other people are so that she has full view of you. At night I would suggest putting her cage right next to your bed so that you can hear her and calm her down and here her cried when it is potty time. At her age pups usually need to potty once or twice a night so she cries when she needs to go potty. .
