Winnie dislocated her knee cap last night. My doctor put her on Rimadyl for pain for a week before she decides on the need for surgery. I gave her her first dose around noon today and just gave her her second. I noticed about 2 hours ago that she is drink FAR more water then she normally does. As in in one sitting she drank an entire bowl. I looked up to see if this could be a side effect of the medication but couldn't find anything. Has anyone experienced this with this medication? Or is it possibly a symtom of something more serious going on with her injury? I know that it's hot out and I should be happy she is drinking but this is a drastic difference then normal.
I think I may be a worrying mother. . . help please!
