Well, things seemed to be looking up. ZoE ate a few small meals of chicken & rice yesterday, and brought me toys to play with her last night.

She finally pooped around 5am...sloppy chicken & rice...yuck. But I thought we were on the mend. Then an hour later, runny, watery, bright red bloody diarrhea again .

So, I called in sick to work and waited for her regular vet to open. They squeezed us in right away. Vet reviewed the ER vet report & test results, gave her more anti-nausea/vomiting meds & gave her IV fluids. While they were setting her IV up, I suddenly got hot & lightheaded and felt myself start to faint, and the vet tech quickly slid a wicker chair under me & down I went. Next thing, ZoE's on the IV drip & I'm getting ice chips & water. How embarrassing! Good news is they didn't charge extra for treating me too

Oh my gosh, Karen!!! Are you ok? What happened to cause you to faint?
