It's been very hot & humid here, so I put their Gerber water in the fridge. I only give them the cold water out of the fridge when we go out for their evening walk. Mimi threw up some water after we got home from our walk. I felt her tummy & it was swollen/ bloated feeling.
I googled & read a few different takes on giving dogs ice & cold water.
This one says it's dangerous, it causes bloat in dogs.

My vet says it's ok give them ice after their dental cleaning & I should only give them a little water @ a time bc if they drink too much too fast, their throat will get irritated. So what's myth & what's real?
