I have a couple of cats that sometimes sit at the top of Gracie's steps. Gracie and the cats play quite a bit but she won't attempt to come up the steps if one of the cats are sitting there at the top. So she sits on the floor and barks until I move the offender so she can come up.

My human kids are grown now but I still have fur babies to deal with.
